This is a set of 3 kendamas. Each one has unique hand painted camoflage pattern on it. The idea between the design is that I wanted to challenged the concept of ‘form follows function’. Since the kendama itself is a traditional Japanese toy that is made to play. Would one changes their perception of something that was supposed to beat up? And for the camoflage pattern, if it no longer function as going stealth instead of going out loud, would it change people’s perception of the use of camoflage?
